Speaking of Shoes...

During the summer, the only shoes Tristan wears are Crocs. I have to admit, it's 100% because they are so easy. There are no laces to tie, they are easy to clean, and they are super comfy. He has several different colors, so at least he's not wearing the same exact pair of shoes day after day.

Anyway, I've noticed over the past couple of weeks, he's been wearing his shoes differently. On one shoe, he'll have the strap pushed forward (in a clog style), and on the other foot, the strap will be behind his foot. It looks kind of funny, so today I asked him...

Tristan, why do you wear your shoes that way?

I wasn't really prepared for his answer.

Because God told me to.

I mean, what do you say to that? Who am I to argue with God? When we got to work, I had him tell Channing what he told me. I think he was surprised too. His answer, "Well, we always need to do what God tells us to do."

So next time you see someone wearing something really strange or in a strange way, don't judge. God may have been their fashion guide that morning. ;)
