Pregnancy Dreams

Can I just say that this part of my pregnancy is one that I don't enjoy...the pregnancy dreams. I don't know about any of you moms out there, but the dreams I have during my pregnancies are WAY CRAZY. They are so vivid and so real, and the next morning, I wake up remembering every tiny detail.

I wouldn't mind this so much if I had normal happy dreams. No, I have crazy dreams. Last night, I dreamed that Channing told me he was divorcing me. Ok, this came as quite a shock since we're in a marriage where divorce isn't an option. It just isn't. We're in it for better or for worse. So imagine my surprise to find this out, and to find out that he was moving with his girlfriend to Indiana. What?! What about our boys???

This dream was so incredibly disturbing. I kept trying to save our marriage, but he just wasn't agreeable. He wanted out. It was awful. I woke up this morning, knowing full well it was a dream, and was still hurt. It was even hurtful to talk to him. It took me a good hour and a half to get past it.

Anybody else out there have awful pregnancy dreams? I'm ready for some rainbows and Care Bears dreams or something. :)

Other than the crazy pregnancy dreams, I feel great. Now the big decision is whether or not we should find out what we're having. We didn't find out with the first two, and had totally planned to be surprised on this one, but lately I'm wondering if we should find out. I am 90% sure we're having another boy, but a tiny part of me wonders if it's a girl. If it's a girl, it would be nice to kind of stock up in advance (seeing as how we have nothing but BLUE). Oh, I don't know. The old wives' tales (which I know are SO accurate) are all saying girl. Now, I don't give much stock to these, but what if it is, and I have nothing???

Another issue is that both my boys were named years in advance. This poor child has NO name, no name for a girl, and no name for a boy. We're having a really hard time settling on names. So if we were to find out, we would only have to stress over one or the other. Hmmm....
Ok, so I'm just having a little pregnancy worry day. :):):)

Thing is, I just LOVE finding out in the delivery room. For me, there's nothing like the doctor setting the baby on my chest and seeing...IT'S A BOY!!! Ok, yeah, that sounds much more exciting for me. Maybe I'll still wait...
Channing sure hopes so. Time will tell. I still have five weeks. :)

I always had crazy dreams while I was pregnant about Ross leaving me. In one dream he was walking towards me with flowers. He walked right passed me and gave them to another girl! Needless to say in real life he brought me home flowers from work that day.

Sooo exciting! I can't believe you COULD find out in 5 weeks if you wanted to. Hmmm...that's a tough decision! Either way I am sure you guys will find the perfect name for sweet baby King.

I have had some pretty crazy dreams, too. Last week, there was one about Brian and I also woke up still mad at him. I knew it was a dream, but I still couldn't get past it for a little while. CRAZY!

As far as finding out, I'm sure it is fun to find out in the delivery room, but I just had to know! I am too much of a planner to not know. I would have to spend the first couple of weeks of the baby's life shopping for pink/blue things and who has time for that??? I'm sure that you and Channing will make the right decision for your family, though.

I didn't really have the dreams thankfully. However I had to find out. Shane and I both had to know. It is still amazing in the delivery room when they hand you that beautiful baby for the first time. But you guys do what is best for you.

I absolutely had crazy pregnancy dreams and would wake up mad at Marc! As for finding out- I think you should. My good friend had two boys that she didn't find out, but when she was pregnant with #3 she reasoned that she would not have the ability to go out and shop and nest once she had three- especially if it was a girl- she'd rather be prepared ahead of time. I'm excited to find out! We already know he/she will be a cutie patootie like his/her brothers!
