Looks Pretty Comfy to Me

I don't care what anyone says, this baby GIRL loves her sling! Does she look uncomfortable to you? Needless to say, I got some comments today at Chuck E Cheese's (where the pic was taken) and got lots of looks and whispers.
And to A, a double sling would totally rock! No way you'd get any concerned glances your way; definitely no snide comments! :) Ha!

Speaking of comments at CEC's, a woman told me Rhiannon looks just like me. Ha! I think I surprised her because I said, "Really?!", then started laughing. She said, "Um, well, uh, the eyes. I think she has your eyes." I told her I would take it because most people say she looks just like her daddy.
I didn't mean to laugh at her, and really, I wasn't laughing at her. I was laughing because I know she doesn't look like me. I hear, at least five times a day, that she looks just like her daddy or like her brothers (who look like their daddy). So when I hear, from time to time, that she looks something like me, I just laugh. I also heard that with Asher when he was a baby (hardly ever with Tristan), and Asher looks the least like me. No one ever thinks Asher looks like me now. Oh well! :) I don't care who my kids look like . I think they're beautiful and wouldn't change a thing about them!

annie, you are too funny. i actually had molly out in the moby wrap today and got a few looks, but one mom actually stopped me and asked where i got it, so i gladly told her all about it! and molly loves it, she sleeps in it all the time! and....there is a way to wrap it where you can put twins in it (http://www.mobywrap.com/t-instructions-TwinHug.aspx) ! so yes, you can have two babies in one!

Ok, so the Moby Wrap looks really cool but also pretty complicated. Seriously, my sling is like super easy, and it still took me four months to get it right...just in time to have to learn how to put her in a different way! Ha! I'm slow on the learning curve of these baby things. My Bjorn was always super easy (I still use it) just hated having to do all the different snaps.
I'm guessing once you've used the wrap a few times, it's easy? :)

Rhodes loves his sling too...and i love having 2 hands free! I get comments a lot too....but people seem to think it's "so cute". One girl asked me what I "had in there".

She looks SUPER comfy!!

annie, i will admit i was a little intimidated by the wrap at first... but yes, once you get used to it, it's no big deal!

I never get any comments about my sling! I had Judah squished in there today in a kangaroo carry maybe. It's called something where he sits up and looks forward. And he loved it. Sometimes I will tell people (if they comment) that they were squished in my uterus and they didn't seem to complain.:)

I love a wrap, but my big ole boys never really fit in one the right way.
And Chuck e brings out the best in people doesn't he?? HAHA!!
I think people just say that any child looks like you to try to make you feel better. They do it to me and all the while a dozen others will say the exact opposite the same day. Who knows?! My common response is, "Thanks. My husband and I actually look a lot alike" and we do. Blonde hair, blue eyed little Aryan nation over here. :) HA!
