My Favorite Things

Sarah over at Fiddledeedee hosts "My Favorite Things" each week. Every Tuesday, you can check out her blog and see something that she can't live without. Others also post their favorite things. It's a great way to learn about new things that may make your life easier or tastier. My favorite thing this week is my Bare Escentuals makeup. I started using it a couple of months ago and am finally getting the hang of it. Now that I've gone Bare Escentuals, I don't see any turning back. The makeup is great. It's made from minerals, so it's healthy for your skin. Aside from that, I like it because it goes on easily, you have to use very little of it, it looks great, and it lasts FOREVER. Seriously. You may have seen the infomercials and think that it's kind of pricey. I thought so, anyway. However, I ordered the starter kit a while back, and I haven't even put a dent in it! I got my second order, and I'm nowhere close to needing it. Another great thing about BE, though, is that YOU decide your shipping schedule. From the looks of how long it lasts, I won't need a shipment for at least six months! After the original starter kit, each kit after that (for the basics) is $29.99. If it lasts for a few months, it's way cheaper than the drug store brands. You can't beat that!

So that's my favorite thing this week. Check out Fiddledeedee for more favorite things.

I Triple Heart bareMinerals!!!
It is the best makeup on the planet. Due to bugetary cut-backs I have tried a few drug store brand mineral foundations...no comparison!

Come visit the Land of Pink...so different from your three boys ;)

I hopped on the BE bandwagon last month. It took me a little while to figure out how to use it but now I love it! I didn't know that about the $29.99. I got my starter kit at Gus Mayer. Since I didn't know how to use it at first, I think I wasted much of it. I am already needing to buy more.
