Out of the Mouths of Babes

A few minutes ago, as Tristan and I were walking from the office to Dollar Tree, I scooped him up and cradled him like a baby. I told him that when he was a baby, I used to carry him just like that.
The following conversation ensued:

Tristan: "Mommy, I don't remember being a baby."

Me: "You were. You used to be even smaller than Asher. In fact, you grew in my tummy! What does it look like in there, in my tummy? You've seen it. I've never seen inside my tummy."

Tristan: "There are lights in there (hand gestures going up and down his belly at this point), and it's all blue...in your tummy."

Interesting! I had no idea. Well now I know.
